Dromana
Dromana is a holiday resort located 70km south of Melbourne on the Western side of the Mornington Peninsula. Dromana's beaches are situated at the foot of Arthurs Seat, a steep granite hill (305 metres above sea-level) which can be accessed by the Arthurs Seat Tourist Road, walking track or until 2008, a chairlift, which has now bee closed due to safety issues.

Dromana has something to offer everyone. Accommodation, ranges from caravan and holiday parks to AAA rated waterfront villas. Dromana has an abundance of great little cafes and restaurants, wineries, a drive-in movie theatre, historic homes and gardens, such as Heronswood, regular local markets, a safe clean beach for all to enjoy, and some of the most spectacular walks found in Victoria.

The Dromana Visitor Information Centre is located in Dromana Park on Point Nepean Rd. The foreshore area is well-maintained with picnic shelters, barbecues and play areas. Dromana Beach which is shallow, sheltered and ideal for families. There is a pier, a boat ramp, plenty of parking, a surf lifesaving club and boat-hire services.

Safety Beach
Safety Beach takes its name from the calm and shallow waters of Dromana Bay, which makes it an ideal spot for children. There is a small jetty on the coast, while the coastal road of Marina Drive separates housing and commercial areas from the foreshore and the beach. Safety Beach is a particularly scenic spot, with walks and views to the peak of Mount Martha in the north and to Arthurs Seat in the south.
