Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery

The region's premier art gallery offers a dynamic program of nationally significant exhibitions of contemporary and historical art by Australia's leading artists. The gallery also presents highly acclaimed exhibitions that focus on the Mornington Peninsula'ss rich cultural life. Recent memorable exhibitions have highlighted the work of Sidney Nolan, Jeffrey Smart and Arthur Streeton. Visitors can choose from an exciting program of special events including workshops and talks by a diverse range of speakers.
The MPRG is also renowned for its National Works on Paper acquisitive award, which has assisted the gallery in acquiring one of the finest collections of works on paper in the country.
A wonderful selection of cards and art books are available at the gallery shop. Join a free guided tour of the exhibitions at 3pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the gallery cafe; and take a walk around the surrounding parkland.
