Purves Rd - Gardens, William Ricketts Statues. lookouts, electric BBQ's and picnic facilities and a range of walking tracks. Entry is free. Carpark opens 10am daily and closes 4.30pm weekdays, 5pm on weekends and public holidays and 8pm suring summer school holidays.

Mulberry Hill
Golf Links Rd - Home of the noted artist Sir Darryl Lindsay and his wife Joan, best remembered as the author of the Australian classic novel, Picnic at Hanging Rock. Entry fee applies. Tel: (03) 5971 4138
Sages Cottage Farm and Cafe
85 Sages Rd - This shingle and slab hut, situated on thirty-three acres, was occupied by the Sage family from 1853 to 1962. The farm is a working illustration of pastoral life. The cottage is used as a restaurant. (open Friday and Saturday 10am-3pm). It is furnished in keeping with the period and has some items of interest from the Sage family. The childrens farm is different to other children's farms in that it offers therapeutic programs, including Animal Assisted Therapy, to children who have been exposed to family violence, abuse or neglect. At the farm they can develop trusting relationships in a safe environment. They can learn how to care for animals and undersatnd how they are feeling and undertake tasks that require responsibility and problem solving skills. CAPE SCHANCK
Cape Schanck Light-Station
Cape Schanck Rd - The light-station includes the lighthouse, a museum and the former lighthouse-keepers residences. The buildings date back to 1859 and are a superb example of architecture of that time. Guided tours of the light-station are held daily .

Ballam Park Homestead
Cranbourne Rd - A 2 storey sandstone brick home, maintained to look and feel like a home of the last century. One of the oldest houses in the area. Built around 1855 by the Lairdet family. Open Sunday 1-5pm. Tel: (03) 9789 3116
McClelland Gallery & Sculpture Park

Mulberry Hill - Golf Links Road, Langwarrin
The Lindsays left their beloved Mulberry Hill, and its significant collection of Australian art, fine Georgian furniture, glassware, and Staffordshire ceramics to the National Trust of Australia so that others could share and enjoy the collection. Tel: (03) 5971 4138.
Open every Sunday except during July. Guided tours 1.30 pm, 2.15 pm and 3 pm.

George Petland Botanic Gardens
Foot St, cnr William St - Originally a golf course, the undulating grassed fairways and garden beds are now planted with native plants.

McCrae Homestead & Museum
